Grief is messy, raw
and honestly...a lot
Firstly, I'm sorry you're here. Grief is complex, especially in a world that often turns away from it or doesn’t know what to say. This isn’t a space for toxic positivity, it's a space where I will sit with you and your grief, in all its forms.
You are here because you’ve tried talking through your grief but still feel stuck
Your nervous system is constantly in fight or flight, shutdown or on edge. You feel exhausted from holding it all together and being the strong one while feeling silently broken inside
You feel overwhelmed and react with emotions that seem to come from nowhere. Or maybe you feel completely numb, like the lights are on but no-one’s home. Or maybe… you’ve just realised you can’t keep doing this alone and pretending everything is fine
However you’ve arrived here, your experience is valid. And you don’t have to navigate it by yourself anymore.
Grief doesn’t just live
in your mind
It lives in your nervous system, your body, your behaviours and patterns. That’s why my work is rooted in a holistic, trauma-informed approach supporting all parts of you, not just the ones that feel easy to talk about. We go beyond just talking about grief and build somatic awareness through sensations, tension and signals within your body which help you to process your grief in a way that talking alone cannot reach.
I’m not here to fix you because you are not broken.
I’m here to walk beside you, as you learn to navigate life alongside your grief and maybe even make friends with it one day
1:1 Grief Coaching
We create a space where you don’t have to have the right words or hold it all together. We’ll explore what’s been feeling heavy, and slowly bring awareness to how grief is showing up in all parts of your life, emotionally, physically and mentally. I’ll guide you with grounding tools along the way, so things feel a little less overwhelming.
Grief is deeply personal and vulnerable. I’ll always meet you with presence and care, holding the space you have trusted me with in a way that feels safe and steady.
Anticipatory Grief
Grieving someone who is still alive can be truly heartbreaking and it is real, it’s called anticipatory grief.
With every deterioration your body, heart, mind and nervous system brace for the end and living in that way can bring such sadness, anxiety and even moments of wishing it was over, followed by overwhelming guilt.
I remember having those thoughts and feeling like I couldn’t say them out loud.
But you are not a bad person if you’re having these thoughts. You’re holding a lot and you are doing your best. I’m creating this space for you, for the thoughts you’re not able to say out loud. If you’re in that space now, I see you.
Grief Circles
Grief can feel incredibly lonely. It's why I've created a safe space to come together in community, wherever you are in your grief. My online circles offer support, connection, and understanding for grief, anticipatory grief, and caregiving.
I’m Harley, a holistic, trauma-informed grief coach.
But I’m also a griever, ex-corporate HR, former people-pleaser, mental health first aider, dog mum, professional overthinker, empath, and certified cosy girl.
When I was in the depths of my own grief, nothing made sense and I was on a path to self-destruction. It wasn’t until I started working with a grief coach that things began to shift. I realised I wasn’t broken or doing grief 'wrong' (there’s no right way to move through it). I was having a completely human response to losing the people I love.
Now I share what I've learnt to support others.
